French 8
This course builds on what you learned in elementary school French (Grades 5, 6, and 7). We focus on speaking and communicating! You'll do lots of fun activities like talking with classmates, doing role-plays, making short surveys (sondages), and performing skits. This class is all about talking, working together, and being willing to try in front of the class. Written works are used to help you practice your speaking.
French 9
This course keeps building your ability to communicate in French. We will use real-life, everyday situations to help you grow your vocabulary and learn more grammar rules. You will practice through both speaking and writing. The most important thing is to participate actively in class because that is the key to doing well!
Core French 10
This course gives equal importance to speaking and writing. You will practice expressing yourself in French using different time frames: the past, the present, and the future. We will have oral presentations and written projects that will help you use French for communicating at a more complex and practical level.
Core French 11
This class focuses on all four main skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with the main goal being communication. You will also spend a lot of time learning about French culture.
