French is one of the world’s major languages. It is a main language not only in France, but in other parts of the world such as Belgium ,Switzerland, Monaco, parts of Canada (mostly in Quebec) and also widely spoken North & West Africa.

Modern French is extracted from Latin. Medieval French was one of the main historic roots of modern English, particularly in terms of vocabulary.
